You can now pay us to keep making videos you already get for free (YouTube Membership is live)

Every week, someone asks how they can support the channel. For a long time the answer was "buy a book, I guess." Now there's a proper answer.

We turned on Membership. It's for the people who want this thing to exist.

Members get:

  • A loyalty badge next to your name in comments and live chat. It ripens the longer you stay.
  • Custom emojis, members only.
  • Priority reply on your comments. We can't answer everyone. You skip the line.
  • The private Discord, the same server our customers are in.
The seven membership badges in a row, from an unripe green banana up to a full bunch.

Note: this isn't a paywall. Nothing on the channel is moving behind this button.

Why bother

The point of all this is simple. Help people get strong without needing a gym, a coach, or a shelf of powders they can't pronounce.

That's it. That's the mission. It sounds small.

It isn't. A person who trains sleeps better, thinks straighter, and is generally less of a problem for everyone around them. Multiply that by a few million and you've actually done something.

We're not going to pretend a yellow cartoon man is saving the world. But we're nudging it in a direction we like, and we'd rather do that funded by the people watching than by the fourth protein brand that emailed us this month.

If you're training, and you want more people training, this button pays for the next video.

Why we need it

A video takes weeks. Script, illustration, animation, edit. Ads and sponsors cover most of it, which works fine, right up until the only way to fund a video is saying yes to something we don't believe in.

Membership is the version where you fund it instead. Fewer sponsors, better videos. Simple trade.

You're not buying a course. You're backing a channel you already watch.

The Discord bit

Members drop straight into the private Discord. Same server as everyone who's bought from the store. Same rooms. No VIP corner.

One community. We're not splitting it in half so a few people can feel special in an empty channel.

Link your Discord in YouTube's membership settings and the door opens by itself.

How to join

  1. Hit Join on the channel.
  2. Confirm.
  3. Link Discord in your membership settings.

Questions we expect

Have trouble joining the Private Discord? Follow this guide.

Can I cancel? Yes. No lock-in, no exit survey, no guilt trip.

Do I lose my banana if I cancel? Yes. It rots. Sorry.

Costs about as much as a coffee. Keeps a small team animating.

To everyone already in: thank you. Sincerely. You're the reason the next one gets made.
